ABOUT

Mariana Beltran is an illustrator, designer, and filmmaker based in Greenville, South Carolina. She graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication Design and a Film and Content Production minor. She worked for four years as a comic artist in The Johnsonian and was published thrice in The Anthology. During her senior year, she won first place in Oral Presentations with her thesis short film Stardust to Stardust and the Outstanding Senior Award from the Department of Design. She loves doing work that revolves around her interests in the ocean, space, and medieval fantasy.  If you catch her in the wild, she enjoys traveling, reading, writing, drawing, daydreaming, or doing a Duolingo lesson.
